Hi!
It would appear that you've discovered my new blog, welcome.
I'm Matilda, Tilda for short. I've been sewing since 2009 and cosplaying since Hallowe'en of that year too, fast forward five years and I've become obsessed with historical costume, begun a degree in costume interpretation and still adore cosplay. So to document my endeavours in making historically accurate clothes and my university adventures I thought I'd start a blog (with a little nudging from my mother, I might add). If all goes according to plan you'll also find cosplay updates, photoshoots, reviews and much more besides being posted on here.
I got the idea for my blog name from the famous words 'Liberté, égalité, fraternité ou la mort' which are synonymous with the French Revolution. Since it is, in my opinion, one of the most interesting periods in history and sewing is a pasttime I am deeply invested in I thought 'La Couture ou la Mort' ('sewing or death') fit rather well.
Tilda
